Diagnostic Evaluations

A diagnostic evaluation is a comprehensive assessment conducted by a licensed mental health professional to better understand a child's emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. This process involves gathering detailed information through interviews, standardized testing, observations, and input from caregivers, teachers, and other relevant sources. The goal is to get a full picture of the child's strengths and areas of concern.

The Initial assessment is a diagnostic evaluation, and the first step in our process of identifying and treating conditions such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, or learning disabilities. By understanding the root of a child's difficulties, clinicians can provide an accurate diagnosis and recommend the most appropriate next steps for support. The process is not one-size-fits-all; it’s tailored to each child’s unique history, symptoms, and needs.
